Dr. Lana Kanaan

Dr. Lana Kanaan earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy; and in her graduating year she was awarded the Esthetic award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Kanaan is a member of the RCDSO, Ontario Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantalogy, and is on the exec of Durham Ontario Dental Society. You can find Dr. Kanaan at her practice in Oshawa; or (when circumstances permit) travelling to Guatemala once a year to do dental work for those in need.

Dr. Kerr Banduk

Dr. Banduk received his D.D.S from University of Toronto in 1979. He has been an active member of the Ontario Dental Association over a number of years and currently holds the position of the Education Chair on the ODA Education Advisory Committee. He has also volunteered for various charity organizations. In his spare time, Dr. Banduk loves to travel, play golf and explore the art of music.

Dr. Murray Arlin

Dr. Arlin received his D.D.S. at McGill University, Montreal in 1977, his Diploma in Periodontics at the University of Toronto in 1980 and his Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 1983. Dr. Arlin has taught at the University of Toronto at the Dental Undergraduate and Post-Graduate levels and was on faculty at the Regency Dental Hygiene Academy Inc. He is the past president of both the Ontario Society of Periodontists and The Academy of Osseointegration and he was the Chairman of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology’s full day Perio Program. Dr. Arlin was the co-founder of the Toronto Implant Study Club (established in 1992) which grew to become the largest private implant study club in Canada. He also was the sole founder of the Dental Hygienist Study Club of Toronto established in 2002, and co-founder of the West Toronto Dental Study Club founded in 2013. Dr. Arlin has presented numerous seminars internationally & authored many articles and was on the Editorial Board of “Spectrum” and “Preventive” magazines. Since 1980, Dr. Arlin works in private practice located in Toronto, that is limited to Periodontics & Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Ali Kapasi

Known around town as a go-to family dentist and dental consultant to local insurance companies, Dr. Kapasi is a hometown hero. He attended three top universities before returning to KW to run Waterloo Family Dental in 1996.

As a member of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society, Dr. Kapasi provides at-cost mouth guards and dental advice for families in our community, frequently volunteers with seniors’ programs in the region and has generously volunteered with the charity Health Outreach, travelling to Central America on missions to provide much-needed dental services. When he’s not with patients, Dr. Kapasi enjoys time with his family, music of all genres and sports — especially hockey and basketball. It’s no surprise that our practice sponsors several local kids sports teams.

Dr. Anthony Mancuso

Dr. Mancuso graduated from the University of Toronto in 1985 and has maintained a general dental practice in Welland, Ontario ever since. He is a fellow of the following: – the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics. In 2006 he received the award of Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and in 2011 he was recognized with the “Lifetime Learning and Service Recognition Award” by the AGD. He has published articles for numerous dental journals and has given over 100 presentations to various dental organizations in Canada, the United States and internationally. He is the current Trustee for Canada in the AGD, the Past President of the Ontario AGD and past-Mastertrack.
